This project started over 2 years ago.
I really wanted a short barrel Super Blackhawk Hunter and of course, nothing like that existed. So I tracked down a used specimen right off the local NES boards and started throwing money at my single action project.
Before even getting the gun modified, I sent out the frame and a tracing of my hand to have exhibition grade french walnut grips made up. Once they came back and I was satisfied with the look, I then moved on to gun mods.
Cut barrel flush with ejector rod housing, inverted muzzle crown... 5-1/2" now
Full action job
2-port muzzle (Magnaport)
Hi-Vis fiber optic front sight (red)
Polish Trigger and Hammer ect... pretty much everything but the frame
Velvet hone finish
Number chambers
Probably missed a few things on the list, but those listed were the major items.
Damn thing is so nice I hardly want to shoot it and get her all carbon'd up.
