he does custom CNC work on AK rifles mostly. Also does re-welding of milled parts kits and whatnot. He's currently balls-deep in recreating the Type 1 AK47, which is pretty sweet.
Give him an email. He does great work at a reasonable price. Currently he's got a Soviet Type 3 that he's rewelding for me. The only caveat is that he takes forever to do it as he has quite the work queue.
You can't have it all, I suppose.

not that I know of. If anyone knew anyone that did custom machining work on AKs, it'd be Greg at GFA Armstec in Natick. He knows more about the professional AK building scene in this state than anyone I know.
it doesn't have to be a 'bona fide AK builder'. I need to mill a receiver to my specs/drawings. Any kind of weapons shop with such capability would do.

remsport can do some of the work, i was told by them. haven't actually hired them to do anything
