how do "convert" a G23 slide to 9mm? i've shot G19 slides with my G23 lower...

also, how the hell does it fit! i guess that's my question. my G17 slide does NOT fit on my G19 lower... [laugh] tricks of the trade i guess....

nice work! [cheers]

i wouldn't mind a 3" to 3.5" slide on my G19.... [wink]

FIFY, and to answer:
Put a 9mm magazine in that frame instead of a .40SW one....

That's all you need to do to convert a G23 frame to 9mm. [grin]

You could change the ejector from the .40 one to 9mm to convert the whole "lower assembly" to 9mm though... [wink]

indeed. that's what i meant to write...

G23 frame (lower) / G19 slide, complete (upper). both 3rd gen, it worked flawless

i tried the G17 slide on a G19 frame and it just didn't line up.... not sure why

edit: i also had (have) a 40 to 9mm conversion for the G23... the package is pending sale to my brother... a couple .40 mags, and a couple 9mm mags, it runs flawless as well

Very interesting.

It reminds me of a G17 I saw cut down to accept g19 mags.

I've been considering doing that to my 22. I haven't yet, though.

It also reminds me of a K40 Covert. I guess it's just a style I like [laugh]

This particular example looks real good!
