My dad took my brother and me to see the Globetrotters in the late 1970's. It was a great show and very fun. All of them were great athletes and tremendous entertainers.

RIP Curly

Saw them in Louisville, KY in ‘68. Loads of laughs! Back then, in Kentucky, watching a team of Black folk trounce a team of White folk was just thought to be good comedic fiction.

I saw them as a kid too in the mid 70's, at the old Boston Garden, they did their show which was followed by a Celtics game.
It was a great show, which made the Celtics game look boring in comparison.
I think that was the last time I was inside the old Garden, and I still haven't been inside the new one.

I never saw them live, but catching them occasionally on Wide World of Sports was a treat when I was a kid.

I had no idea that Wilt Chamberlain was ever a Globetrotter.
