CTE from shooting magnum rifles?

I've said for years the safest place to be when someone is firing a 50 BMG is directly behind them. Having your brain bouncing around the inside of your skull no maker how minor can't be good for anyone long term. I've had both wrist repaired from years of grinding working on sheet metal work.
Both shoulders due to a lot of repetitive motion recoil from shooting rifles and repetitive motions from reloading unknown amounts of ammo. There's a finite amount of abuse the human body will take then it's damn that hurts time for repairs .

Only concussive side effects I get are the ones from my Ol Lady when I buy a new gun ! But hey who wouldn't take one for the team for get a new toy.

Back around the year 2000, I built a 458 Win mag rifle on a Mauser action. I built it for cast bullet silhouette shooting. After i had that stuff figured out I began experimenting with jacketed bullets. I was shooting a lot of full power loads. I always left the range with a headache. I would take some Motrin on my way there.

In the news today is a study released on CTE, and that you don't have to get concussions to get it. Multiple hits is all that it takes. They are cumulative, many small hits will equal one big hit. Everyone's tolerance is different, just like smoking, some smokers will never get cancer, some will get it early.

CTE? I just want to be like young Henry Bowman, with a callus on my shooting shoulder that has to be shaved down regularly. ;)
That's awesome! I want to be that guy!
I have a Rem 700 in 300 win mag that makes me feel like I am recovering from the flu after putting a box of ammo through it.

Yeah, minus the pornstar to make me feel better at my mansion. Did you happen to catch his Showtime comedy special? Boy is about as sharp as a bowling ball. His momma must thank the good lord that he can play football because if he couldn't I doubt he could hold a job as janitor.
