Ct. NR fingerprint cards

I received my CT Non-resident packet in the mail. It has a couple of fingerprint cards in there. Do I have to go somewhere special to get these done or can I do them myself and send them in? I noticed there is a signature area for 'Official taking fingerprints' or something to that affect. Anyone from MAss. done there's and where? I was thinking of just going to the local PD and seeing if they would do them and sign the card.

I've always gone to a local PD and simply told them what I need. I don't necessarily go to my home town. I just go wherever it's convenient.
