I am thinking of getting into it I already have a lever gun and am currently shopping for shotguns but when I look at revolvers All i see are vaqueros .Are vaqueros the only revolvers you can get in MA? my lever gun is 45colt so i would be looking for something in that caliber

You can find other single actions, but the Rugers are some of the most popular due to price and reliability. While not a reprodution of a true Colt single action, the more modern springs make it much more reliable.

They can also be modified for the correct number of clicks on the hammer.

I have 4 Rugers and they are solid, just get a set of springs (I use Wolf) dropped the SA trigger pull of one from over 15lbs to really nice they are totally bullet proof and reliable.
