Court: Man properly denied gun permits due to wife's record

It's what courts do. They play games with words and their meanings to fit their agenda.

So when they have no other justification, they change or create new meanings an distinctions that never existed before.

Yes, that is a right. Oh, did we say we cannot do this in regards to civil rights, but that is happening anyway? Well you see, that is because that isn't a civil right.

The courts do this often. Change or create meanings, define basic common words to have specific tailored meanings of their choosing, and justify things that could not otherwise be justified without doing so.

There was a case out of Taunton I think about 10-12 years ago that dealt with a felon living in an apartment with a licensed individual. The female licensee went to Taunton PD to renew her LTC and was denied because her boyfriend living with her was a convicted felon on parole. Taunton PD denied her renewal and she took it to either District or Superior Court, can't recall which, and the judge ordered her license to be issued. Judge explained having the parolee living there just meant she had to keep any firearms from him.
