This story broke shortly after I moved to MA. I brought several firearms into the state (all legal to possess) and did not register any of them. I'm not required to. To me it was pretty frightening. All the firearms appeared to be legal. He appeared to be guilty of a civil offense at best, and the silencers were obviously fake.
It was ludicrous. And scary.
Also scary was the fact that as the whole case began to unravel, the media was nowhere to be found to document this the way they were there to document the arrest.
