Convert savage axis to left handed

Is it legal to convert from right handed bolt action to left handed?

I would assume it's cheaper to just buy a left handed savage the axis line isn't like super premium

with the amount of effort is would be easier to sell old one and buy a new complete rifle with the left handed action.
you can do whatever you want with the firearms you`ve got. but the new action will need to go through FFL.

I was thinking more rem 700 but the accutrigger is pretty great imo

i've lost track, have they opened up transfers of barreled bolt actions now after this stupid new law in place or are they not transferrable?
or were they always ok?

Any rifle or shotgun not otherwise illegal can be transferred... or some wording to that effect

some people did some.... posted something like all long guns were off the roster?
dunno, like i said i did not pay enough attention. will stop by at local shop to ask if they are ok, i want to do an aero solus build over winter.
just cannot decide upon the barrel.

I don't know, I gave up trying to understand MA laws when that stupid law "passed". I tried reading it and ended up shitting my pants and having a stroke.

They're not on any roster. To cover their 4th point of contact, EOPSS issued "guidance"
