I was out Monday night in plainville, bunch of cops come into the restaurant. I soooooo wanted to say something. Not sure if the main guy was a chief or a detective.

Polo shirt with a badge, gold badge on his belt (no cuffs which is why I think he was a chief) openly carrying a Glock. I kept my mouth shut.

Short guy also. 5’6-5’8

#3 almost exactly, although I’m not sure if it was autopen but could have been. It did get submitted through the web interface. And it was word for word as submitted(they added the Commonwealth)

The look on Toby’s face must have been priceless. And the irony of it all especially the timing of delivery was perfect.

It is a good reminder to our governor that yes, she works for ALL the people.

Apparently anyone can request one of the Governor to be awarded to someone for a accomplishment, birthday, anniversary etc. Likely someone requested it and the Governor's staff created it. Not knowing who Toby is.

'Anyone can request a citation from Healey through a publicly available form on the state of Massachusetts’ website. Requests must be made at least 20 days before the print or event deadline.

Citations are issued for birthdays over 65, couples celebrating their 50th or later wedding anniversary, and retirements, including from military services, according to the state’s website. Citations can also be granted for “outstanding services or deeds” and “award recognition,” both of which are “subject to review,” the state’s website said.

A spokesperson for the governor did not immediately tell the Herald who requested the citation for Leary.'

I was unaware that it's closer to a participation trophy than a actual merit.

Still, without knowing who did it, it is either trolling genuine.

Did I miss where it’s been proven to be something other than Toby being trolled? I can see some question arising whether she initiated, or merely played along…. But are you really asserting this happened without her knowledge?
