Has anyone heard the "Relax the Back" commercial where they start off by bashing the President for slow hurricane response? Then go on to say he probably has sleepless nights and a sore back. But if he goes to their store he will at least no longer have a sore back.

Class Act. Using a natural disaster that killed almost 1000 Americans to plug your product.

I don't listen to that station but I can't imagine that that could have been a real commercial.

Rather, I don't want to imagine that that was a real commercial.

Was it a legit company or did it sound made up?

If it was a mock commercial and I was the owner of relaxtheback.com I would be bullshit and taking legal action.

Email from the manager of the store.

I have no idea what ad you are referring to. I have neither written nor approved any ad referring to the disaster. It sounds like it might have been an ad lib by Mike Barnicle. I will look into this. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

Looks like Mr. Barnicle may be getting a phone call today. [wink]

You're my hero [lol]

Mike Barnacle used to work for the Boston Globe. He was fired a number of years ago for "borrowing" someone elses' work. He's also done some commentary segments on shows...names of which I can't remember. He's basically a lib with some conservative tendencies, but not enough for me to give him a pass. He DOES NOT like the President.
