Coming Together...?

I thought I read somewhere that there were an estimated 14.5 million AR’s or AR type rifles meaning AK’s ect were part of that figure. For anyone stressing about full on confiscation you need to wrap your head around the massive undertaking that would take, the recourses the government would have to expend just to coordinate an operation like that is not really feasible since even if 10% would actually fight by whatever means necessary would be a bloodbath now add another 50% not complying but not being violent and you got yourself a complete shit show. I’m just guessing on my percentages obviously but really it’s not realistic an option for the gov in my opinion.

I hope you're correct, but like I said, I never thought I'd see the day where this country is considering socialism. Plus, we have cancel culture ramping up big time now. Scary times.

Yeah, just going from what the article said. Could be a number from all over the spectrum. So lets say 40 million ARs on the outside. For a buyback we'd be looking at a lowball figure of $200-$300 per from the Gov't. That still $12,000,000,000. That's just ARs. No way they can come up with that kind of coin without bankrupting the country.
Lol for ARs? Total guns maybe. Probably more like 10-20 million ARs.
I went back and checked, the article says 434 million total, not 400 million ARs lol.
NBC says their "gun group sources" say 15 million ARs. Doubling makes 30 million.
In 2018, the NRA gave a figure of eight million AR style rifles in civilian hands.

My mistake. Must have misread the article. Probably an early morning read and I hadn't properly caffeinated yet.

No one wants a fight they want to be left alone. No one is looking for an armed rebellion in fact the opposite. We wish to continue with the god given rights we were born with.
Not if the Repressive Libs have their way, we have no rights as far as the 1st and 2nd Amendments. We need to be disarmed and silenced/cancelled. They smell blood in the water and are expecting Sleepy Joe to bow to their demands. I don't think even the squishy R's would vote for any Dem sponsored gun control bill.

Uhhh, what? The laws are the laws, and your little militia cosplay group isn’t going to hold up to Uncle Sam very well, especially when you don’t hear the predictor drone until after the missiles hit.

If this is something you feel strongly about, take off the tinfoil, get up from the computer, and run for office.
In this make believe civil war, you have the military taking the side of the established bureaucracy. In all the make believe and real believe civil wars I’ve read and heard about this is usually not the case. It’s usually a split.
