The Baltimore Sun recently published an op-ed that is both maddeningly idiotic and hilariously ironic regarding the city’s incredible amount of gun violence.

In the piece, columnist Tricia Bishop claims that she is more afraid of legal gun owners than she is of those who illegally purchase and use guns in the inner city — you know, the ones who are actually murdering people.

Lets stop there. That alone is ridiculous. Not only are her fears statistically ludicrous, but they serve just to compound the fears Americans have against legal gun owners. These people want one thing, to get guns outlawed, and they’ll spread as many lies as they can to make it happen.

Crazy bitches gonna crazy.

Have her spend the next week on a unescorted walking tour of the "friendlier" spots of B-more and see how her virtue signaling changes(we all know she'd never admit it though, if she makes it out that is).

It's been awhile since I've visited relatives in MD but the last few times I've taken the train. As always going through Baltimore yields quite the view from the safety of a moving train, entire streets that have been condemned and torn down being replaced with new homes and the locals still burned out the yet to be finished homes.

Baltimore is the perfect environment to hold all future fuel-air bomb testing IMO.

January, 2016

And not that she is any less crazy, the title of the post that references (but doesn't cite) isn't actually a direct quote, but somewhat of a string of inferences based on actual quotes.

Do you know the gun owners in your circle?
Where’s her original piece? I just went back two years and couldn’t find it on the Baltimore Sun site.

She's a true moonbat but let's keep the facts straight.
She says legal gun owners, not WHITE gun owners. Reptile's source is trying to play the race card to further escalate the situation.
The article is from January 7, 2016, so they had to do some digging, must be a slow news week.

I'm getting a little tired of both sides going out of their way to inflame the conflict. Both sides are playing the race card and using fear to get a reaction. This in not good for anyone. And frankly, even here, repeating the twisted news in order to inflame is getting out of hand. Do a little research before you pass on that outrageous headline. At the very least, link the original source.

In this case, the original source;
Do you know the gun owners in your circle?

Typical liberal nut job, and looks the part:

She says she's less afraid of the criminals in Baltimore, knowing when and where to avoid certain areas. The implication is that along the lines of 'the devil you know is better than the one you don't'. She references an instance in Florida and considering there's a Florida's crazy thread on this very site, it's hard to argue her logic.
Additionally, they missed an opportunity to talk about the one actually scary idea this woman has; creating a searchable database to reference before arranging a play date. Basically, a publicly available national registry of any and all gun owners. That is terrifying logic and what we should be chastising her for. With a little effort the Truth and Action piece could have taken up a discussion about the ramifications of a national gun database. Unfortunately, our current media atmosphere means it more than likely wouldn't get nearly as many clicks as the largely misconstrued race baiting hack job would. *Sigh*

How about a registry with address of all journalists so you can judge for yourself with who you are associating.

The opening line to her article is a hoot. . .

It's inevitable when my husband and I visit family these days that the subject of violence in Baltimore comes up.

Is it, Tricia?? Really??? Maybe there's a problem in your neck of the woods and not mine. LOL

But, then she continues her stupidity.

I know how to stay out of the line of Baltimore's illegal gunfire; I have the luxury of being white and middle class in a largely segregated city that reserves most of its shootings for poor, black neighborhoods overtaken by "the game."

Hold up, gurl! You feel safer with Baltimore's illegal gun owners because. . . . . you can steer clear of them by keeping your lily-white ass in your lily-white neighborhood.

So you DON'T feel safer with crims. Given the true choice, you'd feel safer in a FL suburb than the tougher parts of Baltimore.

And TBH, she might be from Baltimore, but she sounds more like 90% of what she knows of Baltimore comes from watching Homicide: Life On the Streets and The Wire.

She's a tool for sure. She has been spewing this anti 2A crap for years, along with a LOT of other massive liberal policies.

Anyway, here is a link for you: Do you know the gun owners in your circle?

Here is the Baltimore collection link for her: Tricia Bishop

Hey Tricia, how about you go spend the July 4th weekend in Chicago?

Sorry to ruin anyone's breakfast, as some of her "words" just smack of eating raw mayonnaise left out in the sun on warm July day....

She's more afraid of people who have different views than her than she is of people who actually hurt others. The people who hurt and kill others reaffirm her world view, while the people who have different views make her question her own views. She can't have that thought in the back of her mind that she's wrong, no matter how wrong she is.

Came in to say something similar. She just wanted to reinforce her thoughts by making blanket statements and generalities. What she's completely missing is that if her anti-2A stance plays out the way she wants it to, then only criminals would have guns. Then she'll get to write another opinion piece to complain about that. This drivel is useless in the larger conversation.

Also, eff a searchable registry. What I do in my own home is not anyone's business but mine and my wife's.

Why are we giving this feminist dinosaur attention? Looking at her past articles, she's a classic left-wing man-hating, pro baby killer, all of the above. Forget her.
