Camping available: Not on site at this time, though that could change. Nearby - The campground at McClellan Park, Milbridge, ME gets rave reviews for its oceanside setting. Has separate restrooms, limited hot water shower. 15 miles. Bob Walker, supt., 207-546-7027.

Directions:
From Ellsworth, ME, go approximately 30 miles on US Coastal 1 North to Milbridge. In Milbridge, turn right onto US 1A North for 8 miles. Continue straight as US 1A becomes US 1 North again. Go 30 miles to Epping Road, Columbia, on the left (street sign and range sign on the corner). Turn left onto Epping Road for 2.5 miles. Turn right (range sign on the corner), go 0.4 miles. Right again immediately after small bridge. Go 0.2 miles to club entrance.

State Laws to be aware of: Check State Laws at http://www.nraila.org/GunLaws/. The event will be held during hunting season. Local wardens don't want to find unlicensed non-residents with rifles on dirt roads in what are called "unorganized territories." This should not be a concern for any of our shooters, but be forewarned. Keep rifles unloaded and separate from ammo.
Misc: The water on site is NOT potable. The club will provide the food and sodas, and man the grill for small fees for lunch. There is a clubhouse. Also, on food outlets: grocery store, 3 miles, country store, 7 miles and - the envelope, please - 44 North Pub in Milbridge gets rave reviews as one of the best restaurants in Maine. (12 mi.) Other restaurants - Pleasant River Drive Inn, Columbia Falls, ME. (6.5 mi) 207-483-2200. Red Barn Restaurant & Motel, Milbridge, ME. (11.4 mi.) 207-546-7721.
