A baby Colt Vest Pocket made in 1917. The repeat client wanted this little fun gun restored. The rolls were re-engraved by Brian Powley. Nick and I spent a bit of time getting out the pits and scratches beforehand. The small parts were color cased harder like the original by Bobby Tyler. Pins and screws were nitre blued and the frame and slide blued in house. The owner found some very nice wood grips which mimic the original grip design. Fun little pocket pistol.

Sick a beautiful image and a pristine job on the vest pocket---reminiscent of a Turnbull Production. Just bought the piece below---would love to have the Colt emblem re-.engraved

missed this first time around, but a beautiful job, greg. just right, not over the top. i had one of these 25's in the mid 70's. got it at adco in woburn on montvale ave, across from the goodyear elementary school. anyone remember them? dick and al? this is one gun i wish i kept, one of the most reliable mini pistols i ever owned. while i'm thinking of this pistol, i remember going through security to get down to the gate to pick up my mom at the old denver stapleton airport when i lived in colorado. i reached in my pocket for the basket dump and out came the little 25 colt. brain dead, i just plopped it in the basket. this was 1994. no drama, a sheriff's deputy picked it out of the basket and escorted me back to my truck where he handed the little, by now unloaded, gun back. "son, you know better than that" was the lecture. i tossed it under the seat and we both went to the gate to meet and great mom. thanks for the memory, greg, and indulging an old man. sorry for the hi-jack.
