Colt .38 New Army/Navy

Hello...I'm new to the gun world and have recently inherited a Colt .38 New Army/Navy revolver. I'm having a difficult time finding ammo for it however. A very helpful man at a local gun store recommended only having someone custom loading for me.
Does anyone have any insight? The gun is in very good shape, and hasn't been fired in about 50 years.

Hello and welcome to the forum. I believe that would be 38 Long Colt you're looking for. It's still out there but definitely not something you're going to find in a shelf at WalMart or most gun stores.
