Colt’s New King Cobra Target .22LR Revolver

I don’t know about the King Cobra in .22 LR, but a big advantage of the 617 is that it almost perfectly imitates a 686 as far as sights, weight and trigger pull. So it allows you to practice with much cheaper .22 LR ammo while maintaining the same feel as the .357 (sans recoil). Kind of like the .22 LR conversion for the Beretta 92FS.
 
I always wanted a Colt Snake Gun...
i've never handled any of the newer colt revolvers, never mind the python, but would bet, sight unseen, or cylinder unturned, the workmanship wouldn't come close to the original run of snakes. do they?

I don’t see it happening but I have not looked closely at the new ones to say.
I’m going on a gut feeling
