you need a short lift of the ban like in CA so the dating nonsense becomes impossible to enforce.

It's been going on for 6 years. The one thing the article doesn't talk about is in those 6 years how much death and carnage is being caused by the higher capacity parts kits.

Parts kits were rebuilds for "old" "retired" mags. You could get parts and retire an old crappy mag with a brandy-new one, provided you saved the old mag and such. This is Fed AWB territory, not MA-AWB territory. Popular was a Glock rebuild. But you need an old Glock mag to make it work and the prices for those during the Fed AWB were almost as high as they are in MA now.

Reading this article, I am surprised at the surprise of these lawmakers and media types. Govt officials break laws and/or choose not to enforce laws at a whim with minimal to no consequence. Seeing this happening around them, how is anyone shocked that average citizens are ignoring laws that not only dumb but Unconstitutional to boot?

I love when they grandfather all the old mags. The old ones are safe and wont cause any problems, its the new ones you gotta watch out for.
