IMHO AOC is not as dumb as she acts and is playing a role to pander to socialists, which is a role that is terrible for our country.

100% correct that people think they have a right to be protected from what they fear, and those who are easily scared will always find something new to be scared about. That's the root of all the Wu flu bullshit and the government abuses thereof.

One of the reasons I like living out in a semi-rural area at the edge of a huge forest is that the mentality of people tends to be more independent and less fear driven.
