Didn't see a thread on this, so apologies if it's a dupe.

Looks like the Clinton foundation is closing one of their [STRIKE=1]shell companies[/STRIKE] subsidiaries. I guess there isn't as much money rolling in these days......

According to the uber biased WaPo (apparently changing as the wind blows) they have had ZERO (zilch, nil, goose egg) interest since the election.

Kinda proves the point about buying access.

She built a pyramid scheme of pay for play. Now she can't deliver on the play. It's going to be very interesting to see what all those people that donated millions will do now that they know there will be no pay-back.

My bet would be on the "or less".

Agreed this is pretty good proof of influence peddling. Let's hope no constituents are stupid enough to elect Chelsea Rodham-Hubble to something as mundane as dog catcher.

I would be that it is STRONGLY on the 'or less' side, haha.

I predict a senate seat for her within the next 10 years.
After the whole country sees the public trials and watches both of her parents (maybe even her) sent to club fed, I'd hope nobody would have the taste for anything resembling a clinton for the rest of days. One can hope!

No different than investing in a hot drug stock just before it's miracle product fails FDA trials. The investors in Clinton Inc. were big boys who knew the risk they were taking.

You really think her health will last that long?
The comment about "a senate seat within 10 years" was regarding Chelsea. Remember, she showed such merit as a journalist that she we was able to command a $600K salary right out of school.

They have to suck it up. If they complain about their losses, the Clintons have a way of dealing with such people that has proven 100% effective so far.

Nothing. It is a gamble. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people donate to both sides.

With their empire crumbling around them, you really think they still have that kind of "pull?"
They probably have a few billion stashed somewhere, plus lots of dirt on all their friends and enemies. You can buy a lot of thugs with those kinds of assets.

How stupid must the network feel after paying all that money to the next generation and seeing her Mom crash and burn.

She move a ton of CF cash out of the country back in October, where the US gov can't seize it if she gets charged with financial crimes:
