Cleaning stands, what do you use?

I’m looking to purchase the Tipton gun vise for cleaning but I wanted to see if anyone has any experience with it or if anyone prefers any others.

I have a few rifles and pistols, to this point I have been just using the bench when I clean but it would be helpful if I had something to hold the gun while cleaning the barrels.

What do you guys like and or recommend?

Tipton here. Just need something to hold the rifle and do the job. Dont over complicate it.

I recently bought the MTM and it has worked well and only cost a bit more than $30.

Have this same MTM and it’s perfectly serviceable.

Only issue is that thicker buttstocks don’t fit the clamping cradle well. Too narrow.

But for general use it’s fine; worth the money IMO.

I cut the soles off of a pair of sandals and attached them to my bench vise. Works like a champ and cost nothing.
