Civil war era part ID

So over at the metal detecting forums someone found something at a CW site. Any idea what this barrel band came off of?
, you guys know your stuff so I figured I would ask.

Sharps carbine.

I've never seen a 'flat' bottomed barrel band. Perhaps it was damaged.

Possible, being underground for 100 plus years

Sharps or Springfield as only ones can think of with solid bands

There are some better pictures with measurements, the thing that has me guessing us the flattish bottom which the Sharps, Spencer, and Springfield don't have that I'm aware of. I'm beginning to wonder if it might be modern because it doesn't appear to be that corroded.
