Christmas Pictures

As I promised earlier, I finally found the pictures my son sent to me right after Christmas last year. Below is his e-mail.

Merry Christamas. All is well here. Didn't have any snow, but it still wasn't a green Christmas. more of a tan. I volinteered to wear the red suit. The local kids loved it. I had to visit some w/ an escort becuase the kids would mob me. Other than that it was another day. One more closer to getting out of dodge.

Nickle you know the feeling is the same here. Glenn and I both want to go with Alan. Harder on us then it is on them. We just have to resign ourselves that we have to let the young pups go instead of us old dogs. [wink]

Well, I may have gotten cleared enough by my Medical Review Board to be able to go "visit" my Boss. I got an e-mail from him this morning, the first since he got in Iraq.

Funny thing is that they'll probably only let me go as an Admin Clerk or Legal Clerk, so that I won't damage my hearing more. I'm MOS Qualified in both, though I'm primarily Maintenance. There's a reason why they call it "Artillery Ears". I did get cleared by my Rheumatologist to forgo blood tests for a year, so, that's out of the discussion.
