Well, we baked all our cookies yesterday. Everyone from scratch.

I made my Chocolage Gingerbread Cookies. Nicolle made some chocolate nut roll up things.

Then, it's time for the kids...we made Chocolate Chip Cookies that Hadley can put out for Santa. I also picked up the carrots with the green on the end.

This way Hadley can put out cookies and milk for Santa, and the carrots are for all the reindeer.

I'm so excited that she's finally old enought to know what's going on...and this is what makes Christmas, Christmas.

Just so you guys know, we've been keeping tabs...

Santa is in New York...

Well, we just got home from my in-laws. We've been making cookies, pies, and cakes for god knows how long. Well, over 9 or so hours. But you should see all the goodies that we made for tomorrow.

They wouldn't let me eat any... Oh well.

I got up for to go to the bathroom, and I noticed something wasn't the same.

So I checked on-line where Santa was, and he's working his way west and is now in St. Louis.

So I went out by the tree to see if things have changed and this is what I found.

I wasn't sure so I got a little closer....

Then I realized that I didn't have the flash on, so I turned it on and this is what I saw.

So ladies and gentlemen, it looks like Santa came though the New England Area and left some presents for the girls and boys.

I guess that I'm going to have to try to stay up later next year.

Have a good night everyone and we'll talk to you all tomorrow.

Merry Christmas, C-pher!

Santa visited our house, too. Ate up all our chocolate chip cookies and even helped himself to a glass of milk.

Tomorrow's going to be crazy, but a good, fun, kind of crazy. It is DEFINITELY the time of year to enjoy being, or having, a kid.

And for those who don't celebrate, joyous Festivus!

Last evening family and friends got together in Alice North Dakota. Dinner eaten and presents opened. All the older grandkids recieved nerf guns. At least I think thats what they are called. A terrific battle erupted between the adults with these formidable weapons. The young bucks learned that aimed fire and superior tactics will always trump enthusiasm and spray and pray. The wives ultimately prevailed however and forced the warring factions to observe a Christmas truce.
