I taught all my kids safe gun handling and the joys of shooting as soon as I thought each one could handle it.

But I have to say that I don't care much for that picture.

Yes it is a composite, but I'm surprised you were able to tell. It's one of the best I've done I think. Started with a photo of him in his swing with no right hand visible. Then I 'borrowed' the outfit and tucked the gun in the sleve over a piece of black cardboard. Spent a little time playing with the light to get the right shadow on the grip. Then it was just a matter of careful cutting. A major reduction to Avatar size to hides any remaining lines.

By using the same outfit, I was able to preserve the proportion. I was going to scale down the .500 Magnum, but figured it would look goofy. The .22 NAA LR revolver just looks so much more appropriate.

I think the wife would have freaked if I had started handing guns to the baby. (^_^)

No trigger guard...saw that it was cut out. That's the only reason that I could tell.

These have no trigger guard. The only 'error' I could find in the original was a slight mismatch of the fabric pattern inside the sleve, but that is invisible in the reduced size version.
