Whatever is cheapest that isn't reloaded. I would avoid Amerc and Indepedence ammo.Any 9mm FMJ that functions in your gun.
+1 for WWB. 100 packs are just over $12 at wally world- can't beat that unless you relaod.

The problem with WWB at wally world is that you can never buy enough
of it at once, especially not in this state. The average wally world
never seems to have more than 4 or 5 boxes of the stuff, because someone
already has the local crawl mart scoped out for when the new ammo comes
in, and buys up most of it. I'm sure they probably have cases of the stuff
hidden somewhere, but asking the droid thats at sporting goods to go get
you a case of WWB is probably pushing it, at walmart.

Sorry Mike .................. The problem is, that when you go to Walmart for ammo, they make it such a freeking struggle to buy it that you take everything on the shelf so you DON'T have to come back too soon.![]()
My average buying experience usualy takes 40 minutes.![]()

I think that it's worse to buy ammo at Dick's. If the sales person isn't busy it's OK but if there are other customers there you have to wait and wait so that he/she can carry it to the check out. Stupid.
Most of the NH wally's I have been to have the same problem. You have to go to the front register to ask for help, then play the waiting game while they find someone who isn't on break who has keys.If you go to a walmart in NH and Maine you're likely to get better service than what we get/used to get in MA stores.
After a bad experience at WM, (the cute little sales girl at the sporting goods counter refused my Class A, no restriction, LTC because it was not an FID) I got to know the guy who ended up helping with the above bad experience. He was cool, knows a little about firearms, and is glad to help when I need a box to carry out my WWB value packs when I buy them. I am also guilty of "cleaning out" WM when stuff is available, but mostly because it is convenient, five minutes from home, and a good deal.

I inquired about this today and this is the response I got: The Plymouth Police Chief does NOT require Dick's Sporting Goods employees to carry the ammunition for the customer to the check out.It is NOT Dick's policy to carry ammo to the front registers. My Wife and I carted large amounts of ammo to the front registers in our shopping cart on two separate occasions. No problem with the cashiers either. One front-end supervisor went stupid on me and I reported that incident to the store manager (has thick Southern accent) the next time I was there.
Said store manager told me that some local chiefs demand that the store does strange things like carry the ammo up front for you. He did tell me that it IS Dick's policy to carry guns to the front register.
Wrt to Wal-Mart, when I buy ammo there I cash out at the SGs Dept register and walk out of the store with the bagged and paid for ammo. Nobody carries it to the front of the store. This has been true in Framingham, Walpole and Hudson NH. Can't say that some chief might not "require" them to carry it to your car in some towns, however.
