Did my test run on my generator yesterday and it has a bad circuit breaker. I am only getting 110 out of the 220 outlet. One side is dead. Ordered the breaker yesterday. Better to find out now than an hour after I lose power this winter.

Thanks for the reminder to check things. Don't forget, this time (+ a couple of weeks) last year we had around 30+ inches of snow in some areas around here.

Still haven't broken in the generator I picked up a few months ago.. this weekend I swear.

It's also a good idea to put on some kind of a load when you "test" your generators. I run my air compressor off my generator about every 6 weeks to keep things in check.

I just power up all the gen circuits in the house. I found the bad breaker because the fridge wasnt running. Only half the gentran panel worked.
