Report: Security Clearances Revoked, Criminal Charges Pending For ATF Fast and Furious Officials

Washington D.C. - According to credible ATF sources, officials heavily involved in Operation Fast and Furious and named as partially responsible for the program's failure by Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz and the House Oversight Committee have been stripped of their government security clearances while some have been fired, demoted, and transferred. Criminal charges are also reportedly pending.

That's a mighty big bus those people just went under.

They declare they have accepted responsibility. Once you get to a high enough level, accepting responsibility becomes an abstract concept, not something with real consequences.

I 100% agree. All they are doing now is looking for scape goats. It's not right.

I don't know what the federal rules are on revoking pensions, but if they were convicted of felonies in a MA court, they'd lose them. Even more so since the alleged crimes are directly related to their professional duties.

When a company does bad things, the politicians love to cry about how the CEO is responsible and that if they knew, they are bad, and if they didn't know they are poor leaders and shouldn't be there... If the politicians do wrong, it us always some person below them that they had absolutely no knowledge of...

Same with the governors and Mayors toward the utility companies after a storm. Jump all over about how they have no plan to get things restored... But ask a politician when they will get the budget fixed or some other lingering problem and they have no answer...

Politicians suck and are power mongering do nothings. Proof? They refuse to vote themselves term limits.
