I moved over 60 days ago and when i moved to my new town i reapplied for my LTC because my previous town would not remove my restrictions. I never filed a change of address because i had my new ltc within the 30 days of moving. Three weeks ago i realized that instead of issuing my new LTC to take the place of my old one it was issued when my old one expires. My new police dept is trying to have the restrictions removed now. Should i file a change of address now and send a letter stating my situation and why it was not filed earlier? Other issue is i put my old ltc through the shredder so it wouldn't get into the wrong hands.
Also, this wasn't picked up when i did two fa-10 transactions with my new ltc. What should be done about this?
Hoping one of the people with more experience with the laws can comment on this and give me some advice.
