CBS News beclowns itself with scary gun data that's completely wrong

Not only did they use the wrong source, but those numbers also include "firearms" (NFA items), possessed by law enforcement.

The 42,897 "registered firearms" in Washington DC should have tipped them off.
 
How hard would it be for some of these large media outlets to hire a gun guy? For $100k/yr + bennies I'd be happy to review their material to make sure it makes sense.

OTOH they do this in movies and how many times do you hear the hammer cock on a Glock.

They dont care about the accuracy of what they report, they just want ratings

The solution to innocent people being killed by criminals with guns is to take guns away from other innocent people. What don't you you people understand?
