Carry gun. What do you carry?

That sounds like a rather good move. Do you have the lcr? I know it's as light as a bastard, how is it on controllability for follow-ups? I carry it with Golden Saber 125gr jhp. How about as a straight pocket pistol?

Sadly no. My suggestion was merely the first thought that popped into my head based on my aforementioned limited knowledge. I have heard only good things about the LCR, including that recoil is pretty manageable even with full power 357 loads. The Hogue Tamer grips supposedly help quite a lot, but do impede pocket carry a bit. A standard boot grip would lend itself better to pocket carry.

I'm sure there are a few guys on the board with more first-hand LCR experience to share.

I'll look into it. Thanks man.

Ruger SR9c. I'm currently testing out the Deep Concealment shoulder holster. It's not pretty, but so far it's proven quite comfortable and concealable. I wear a suit (or at least shirt/tie) 4-5 days a week, and I don't have enough room in my pant for an IWB.

The holster matches my shoes, which is very important.

This is my carry piece with some of the other stuff I EDC, although the knife and the phone have been updated. The camera and the radio aren't always on me, but nearby.

How does the M&P carry in that holster? Anything you don't like about it? A friend has one and is looking for a holster to carry.

Well. It would carry even better with the flat bottom mags but I can't grip the gun worth crap with those. Got the kydex with an open bottom so I can go with the full size if I want to.

Ruger SR9c. This fits my hand like a glove. I am more accurate with this than I have been with any other handgun I've ever fired. I am very pleased with it.

Depending on the weather and on my clothing, I carry either a Walther PPS or a Walther P99c, in 9mm, in a Milt Sparks VM2 IWB holster. Sometimes a full-size P99 replaces the P99c, as they both work in the same holster. I carry a spare mag in my weak-side pocket with the PPS.

Extra mag on support side in a Don Hume clip on pouch.

Belts from A&G Custom Leather, The Beltman, or The Wilderness as it suits my mood and dress.

sig p229 9mm in a Comptac Minotaur Spartan. This basically year round.

I sometimes carry a glock 19, though I am more comfortable with the sig (most likely due to the holster, I shoot both equally and have high caps for both).

I dont carry extra mags, though after reading this thread and seeing how many of you do I am kind of tempted. You guys just slip them in a pocket, or carry a seperate mag holster?

You're best off getting a mag holster. They're generally available in all the same styles as gun holsters....kydex, leather, flaps with snaps, IWB, paddle, etc. I sometimes carry a spare in my back left pocket, but I have to have a specific set of other objects in my pocket for it to work well.

Malfunctions happen and through training dropping a mag and going to backup is a lot quicker.

Single mag carrier kydex on weak side.

Wow, where do I start. In the winter I carry my Kahr PM40 w/Laserguard or my S&W 340pd w/CT grip in my pocket or my S&W 629 Trail Boss, Kahr PM45, S&W SW9VE or S&W 325pd w/CT grip on my belt or IWB. In the summer I normally carry my Ruger LCP w/Laserguard in my pocket. I also have a North American Arms Pug 22mag mini revolver with Laserlyte laser that I just pop in my pocket as a BUG.

I have one of those Deep Concealment holsters. Love it. Works great under a nice heavy flannel shirt in the mid spring and fall.
