I was out earlier and this tennie bopper is riding on the hood of her BFs car. Now don't get me wrong, I did a few stupid things as a yout but never something so foolish. Am I an a-hole for thinking that Darwin would have been proud to hand out another award?

Ever see the video of the kid who is hanging his head out the door of a moving car? Then another car comes from the opposite direction and takes it off.

Ouch!!! He must have spent like a whole week in the hospital.

About a year ago, my boss was trying to impress his wife. He was beyond drunk and car surfing when he fell off and was dragged about an 1/8 of a mile. He didn't realize until the next day, when he finally sobered up, that he had broken his ankle, his leg and tore his achilles tendon. He hasn't walked right since.

Young people are stupid; they don't realize that they can die.
I remember standing up on the seat of one of my motorcycles going down the highway with the throttle locked.
    I wouldn't do that today.

Did it. Survived the fall. Never had cameras with it so it can’t be proven.

Teens who don’t do stupid shit have boring stories as adults, if we get that far.

When I think back to all the stupid stuff I did as a teen, I’m amazed I’m still alive. God must have a soft spot in his heart for dumb kids.

I don't think I grew up until I had my daughter. I was thirty-one when she was born. And I had a few "relapses" after that, two bike wrecks that were my fault. I was incredibly lucky with one of them, walked away after sliding across all four lanes of 287 down in NJ. Couldn't believe I didn't get hit by anyone. The other I wasn't so lucky - I went to the hospital, ended up in ICU for a while. God looks out for drunks and fools.

Some of my friends used to do that in college...you know, when they were really shitfaced. oddly, nobody died in the process. Could never figure out why that was, though.

Friends in high school used to do it all the time when we were younger, but on the roof in a local cemetery.

I remember even back then being amazed that none of them had died yet.

well one girl in our old town was not so lucky, she went off the car. The driver was convicted of a slew of charges including vehicular homicide IIRC... she was the little sister of a friend of mine too

I'm guilty of doing this. I think I was no older than 13 or 14 at the time though, and my buddy had a relatively friendly 'wagon surfing' caprice with a large enough surface for a side by side with one of your buddies.

It seemed like a good idea at the time.

Sticking your bare ass out the window was the trend where I was growing up.
