Can't remember the name of a gun?

Kind of a random question, but I'm sure someone here can help. I was talking to a friend and I can't for the life of me remember the name of an Old Gun. It was essentially a commercial version of the sliding pipe 12 gauge shotguns you see on you-tube (Put a shell in the barrel, slide the barrel into another tube, and ram it backwards to fire), it had a wooden stock and a crude sight and safety. I think it was from the 20'3 or 30's. Fairly sure it was a flop.

Any help on the name?
