I don’t think you realize that with this case a gun manufacturer is being held liable for not making their guns harder to be used in a murder. Otherwise Sig and serial numbers having nothing at all to do with this case.

Cases are often decided by the precedent on which their ruling will have. Again, I'm not a lawyer, but having talked to a number of them about very similar situations in the auto and other industries, what I've been saying is my understanding.

Which is to say, manufactures have a duty to ensure to the best of their ability that their products are used as intended. All he did was clog up the courts with a case that can't be won by the prosecution. They will hope for an out of court settlement like in every other case.

The one I bought within the last few years is stamped as made in MA... So either SOME are made in Canadastan, or they shifted out of that frozen shithole.
