Can someone explain to me "Close the gun show loophole"?

However, The anti's will then shift the focus on laws beating down gun dealers til they become non-existent in this state. Essentially killing firearm sales completely. There was a lot focus on one gun a month, I think FTF is way a way more important issue.

Exactly. Thank god that POS bill didn't pass...yet.

Just so it's completely clear, from an anti-gunner's perspective, ANY FTF transfer without a NICS check is a 'loophole' in the law. That's because THEY BELIEVE there's a dramatically higher chance that the purchaser of the gun is buying illegally (buying something they wouldn't be able to buy at a gun shop).

It's fine to keep saying there's no such thing as a loophole, but it also helps to understand where the opposition is coming from.

The MA registration system happens to minimize risk here, but that plays into the anti's argument that registration is a good thing......RUBBISH!
