can opener?

bought a spam can of the romanian hot shot and ummm...dont have the opener to open it! how do i get this thing open?

Somewhere I have the can opener . . . I remember buying one . . .

But when it came to the Mil-Surp Shoot last January, I couldn't find it, so I went to my workbench and carefully used a large screwdriver and a hammer to open the can.

May not be the best way, but it works.

Start an opening with the screwdriver & hammer, then go at it with tin snips.

I've used a grinder on low speed before to take down the lip and then pop the lid off but unless you're using a very coarse grit wheel there is a risk of sparks.

Hahahahahahahahaha, forgive my laughter but I did the same thing. I had a surplus of can openers but I put them someplace where I wouldn't lose them. I lost them, go figure. I am looking forward to the day when I find all of those "put in a safe place" items!
If you can't find the can opener try the previously suggested screwdriver and hammer.
