California judge: Shooting victims, families can sue Smith & Wesson, gun shop

Crazy how in the US people are allowed to sue manufacturers of guns and shops that sell them. but if I die from a vaccine my family can’t sue the manufacturer who marketed and distributed that vaccine for the purpose it was used
I think you've just figured out how to eliminate self-defense civil liability:
Shoot the MFers with some vaccine that they're allergic to.
Instant immunity from lawsuit.

I've said it before(may have posted it on here) but judges should have a malpractice type insurance. This way they let someone out(parole etc.) and they do something(rape, kill) while out, the judge's insurance gets hit to pay for the settlement. Shit would change REAL fast
The fear of negative repercussions to judges (media attention, etc.) is a bit part of why virtually every 209A is granted, even if the complaintant says "he never acted violently, but I feel scared with him owning guns". Ditto for dangerousness hearings and upholding LTC denials. This kind of policy could easily be another thumb on the scales of justice.
