Hi Neighbors! I have a couple of wonderful old 16ga shotguns I'd like a competent smith to work on for me.
First is a 1927 Lefever single-barrel. It is light-striking (firing pin? hammer spring?) and also needs a couple of missing pins to keep the ejector in place.
Second is a Winchester Model 12, built around 1942 but hardly used, that was stovepiping on me while shooting sporting clays in freezing temps last weekend. I'm hoping it's something simple. Another guy with an old shotgun said he has the same problem with some ammo and recommended using the gun club shells.
Would greatly appreciate it if anyone can point me in the right direction!
