C&R FFL Renewal - Turn around time

Anyone know how long the BATFE is taking to renew the C&R FFLs?

Mine expires on June 1, 2014. Wanted to know if I should file it now or if I can wait a month?

They'll send you a renewal form in the mail. Fill that out when you get it and send it back in, and your new license will get back to you before the previous one expires. They are actually really good at turning them around in time.

A change of address took about 3 weeks.

I got the renewal notice and returned it promptly. The new license came about 15 days before the expiration date of the old one.

I was getting a little anxious.

I renewed in the fall, and the new license only took about three weeks to arrive. I sent the form in shortly after I received it, and the new license was in my hands prior to to previous one expiring.

It's not bad it it expires. You get to throw away your old book and start fresh. Just hope you don't run across a great deal during the gap.

Mine came back quickly........maybe a couple weeks. I was surprised for some reason.
