I also have a BYF 44 bayonet with matching scabbard and blade #s but not matching this rifle. Packed away I have two 1944 dated pebble grain ammo pouches. Not really my area of interest I was mostly into Enfield rifles.

Bayonets were not made to match; just numbered from the factory as they were made.
