This month, my son and his coworkers were recognized for saving the life of a
little girl. He is a Flight Paramedic with Vanderbilt Lifeflight in Nashville Tenn.

He brought this girl back from death twice on the way to the hospital, and today she is doing
perfectly fine, and has no permanent damage.

It is a great feeling when your child does something that makes you so proud that they bring tears to your eyes. And I hope a lot of you guy's can share that same feeling someday.

(My son is on the right, and the Pilot and Co Pilot are the guy's on the left.)

Pure awesome. Your boy looks like you.
When you look back at your life, you know you did something right if you have good kids.

    You should be proud.

Solid work. Most of the time it goes unnoticed.

Keep this one around, he'll forget this when he loses one. Make damn sure he remembers this one.

Heartwarming to hear, and your pride is well justified.
And im sure there will be a lot more lifesaving in the future. I wish him a long, satisfying career being a hero.

And you want to know the best part?

The last time I ever had to scold him was when he was 10 years old and I caught him in the garage with his friend:
they were taking 22 bullets apart and lighting the powder! Unfortunately, they were doing it right next to the gas cans,
so I had to make them go out on the patio to do it. Of course, then his mom yelled at both of us after she
saw all the burn marks on the concrete![rofl]

He always got good grades in school, and paid his own way through his Bachelors in Emergency Medicine, and is still going to
school in Medicine, and doesn't have a fortune in college debt like a lot of guy's his age.

I am a very lucky Dad!

Way to go SkySoldier Jr.! And congrats to you Kim for raising such a fine son. Fantastic pic- have to show Mrs. Mountain.

Vanderbilt, as you know, is a fantastic hospital. Their trauma center is one of the best to be found & your son is fine example of the top notch people who work there.

    [cheers]

We miss you out here, but great to know that you and your family are doing well.
