I have a Professional Ordnance Carbon-15 AR-15 pistol (Bushmaster bought them and made there Carbon-15 pistols from there design, plus made them better) This gun was instate before 1998 so it was legal for me to buy it at a gun store. I belive these guns where made during the AWB. They where made out of carbon fiber to make them light to get under the 50 oz rule ( thats why you see the Olympic AR-15 pistols that are made from metal look like swiss cheese because they where shaving weight off to get under the 50 oz rule). They have no barrel shroud, they do have a mag that is outside the pistol grip. There is hope in finding one, I did, you just have to keep your eyes open and not hesitate when you find one. They are fun to shoot and have a very big muzzle blast. I have seen one other one for sale in this fine state that we live in, but that was a couple of years ago.
