bumping an add

How does one "bump" an ad in the classifieds? I made an edit but it didn't move anywhere.

You reply in the thread. (make a post that says bump or whatever) Once every 7 days only please, and that's from the last bump, even if you were not the person that bumped it.

Add a new post 1 week after the last post in the thread.

A simple "bump" is sufficient to remind others that it's still available, and move your thread up closer to the top of the listings.
