Picked up a Bulgarian Mak. today. The pistol looks brand new it came with a holster, extra mag, lanyard, and a book that has a stamp, and signature inside but nothing else filled out.I think it must be for the pistols maintenance records.

That book is for technical records, however, the Mak might be a Bulgarian, but the book is not - not sure, can not see the book. If you post another book pic, might be able to tell you what country it is from

I have Maks from Germany, China, 2x Bulgy (circle 10 and a commercial) and Russia. Love em. Nice condition on yours - congrats. My Rusky is the "hi-cap" model - came with the rare 12 round mag..... Great guns.

picssssssssss pl0x.

Seconded. I will get a pic of my 9x18 guns up too. At one time I had four East Germans and a Bulgarian. Now it's two EG's, and one each P64 and P83 from Poland. The polish guns are quite different mechanically from a true PM, but are just as well-built and dependable.

Oh and if you get into reloading and see how much new virgin 9x18 brass goes for, keep in mind you can easily cut down 9x19 brass to 9x18. You just have to make sure you don't mix it up if you reload both. :(
