Looking for suggestions for a budget scope to go on my M&P15.

Will be shooting 200 yards at paper. Would like enough magnification to see where my shots are going.

What's out there and cheap.

@200 yards unless your useing a shootNsee target it will be hard to see the holes.
as for cheap or budget scopes.
what is your budget. I been lucky through the years with the sub 125.00 scopes.
although I tend to put quality rings/mounts on. My most recent scope is the hawke airmax ev. All though this model is intended for air rifle. It has proven itself worthy.
their ballistic software and map 6 reticule save you a lot of time figureing out your hold points. You can print out cheat sheets that fit right in the lens cap. I'm been eye balling this one. http://www.hawkeoptics.com/rifle-scopes/varmint-sf.html

http://www.hawkeoptics.com/rifle-scopes/panorama-ev.html or this on. I have come to like the map 6 reticle vs mildot.

Down load the ballistic calculator and play with it. I'm sure most scope manufactures have similar stuff now.....if your data is correct hawke software is very very close.

I think those centerpoint scopes are pretty cheap, but that's just my opinion.

I think the Simmons line of scopes is better quality for a cheap scope. Sometimes Dick's has Bushnell scopes or other big brands on sale for around $100
