I've got a BSA 6-24 MILDOT. Not bad for a cheap scope.

Is that a "Big Cat" with the 30mm tube?

I am interested in the bigger tube for more light at dawn and dusk.

+1 I just picked one up myself the other day. I haven't sighted it in yet, but it seams really sweet.

I have a high powered BSA Catseye on my 10/22 and it works flawlessly. Can't say the same for the high powered Sweet 17 I bought, I had better luck shooting with the lower end model in that line.
BSA is a crap shoot and they do have some nice optics. I guess it all depends what you want to use them for. Serious target, hunting, plinking, etc. I know I wouldn't put one on anything I wanted top notch performance from at 100+ yards.
