BROOKLINE, Mass. (WHDH) -- A Brookline gas station was robbed by man armed with a pistol Thursday night.

The gunman ran off with the cash and Wahab called police. He learned by looking at surveillance video that robber had been waiting outside the station for the right moment. But Wahab says he never would have been expecting that in Brookline.

Just a sign of the times. Banks are getting hit more and more these days and location is of no concern. Bank of Canton got robbed last week of about 1,500. Doin' time in PMITA federal pen for 1.5k. Now that sounds like a deal. Three hots and a cot.
