Break in period

My new "Hardback Cordura Coat" just arrived.It is stiffer than a 2 week old corpse. I know its supposed to firm me up, but how long before the arms loosen up a bit?

I do not have that particular one, but I normally start by wearing it around the house for as long as I can stand it until I can go a couple hours at a time, then take it to the range and again, build up to it. When I first baught the one I have I took right to the range for a couple hours of shooting. Left me raw in a few places. Didn't wear it at all for two weeks after then broke it in before trying again. Although mine is not that nice, so you may not have same problems.

they'll loosen a LITTLE bit...but overall, they're supposed to stay pretty stiff. thats the point of a hardback.
