    and people at our club question why we have bowling pin shoots, does anyone believe it was the machine, and the pesky pins didn't have anything to do with it..??

    As a kid I worked at a candlepin bowling place on those machines. There's a big freaking motor with an arm that spins around to lower and raise the pin setting platform. Many a repair guy had serious foot damage from that damn thing.

    Sucks for him but stuff like this is why they make lock out switch gear.

    Working on live machinery you takes your chances.....the machine won this time.

    He was a manual pin setter
